Little Blue Spruce

A tribute to a very special horse.

After a good year of eventing competitions with my daughter, Little Blue Spruce suffered a horrible accident at the barn where we were boarding her – severed tendons in her front leg (2011). We did all we could to save her, but her leg was too damaged for her to continue competing.

She recovered for 6 months at a new barn, where my daughter took amazing care of her.

She then spent the last year of her life on a beautiful farm in VA with a friend (brown horse at end of video) and humans who loved her, but she was suffering too much so we had to put her down (4/2013). We were all devastated.
